Official operational notice regarding federal regulatory compliance, carrier representation, and the independent dispatch framework of A Plus Logistics.
Bona Fide Motor Carrier Dispatch Agent
A Plus Logistics LLC acts exclusively as a bona fide independent dispatch service provider and administrative representative for authorized motor carriers. All dispatch coordination, load booking, and communication with freight brokers are performed strictly pursuant to a written, fully executed Carrier-Dispatcher Agency Agreement.
1. Not a Freight Broker
A Plus Logistics is not a freight broker or freight forwarder as defined under Title 49 of the United States Code and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. We do not solicit freight from shippers in our own name, do not issue bills of lading under our name, and do not sub-contract or re-broker transportation to third parties.
2. Direct Carrier-Broker Contracting
All freight transportation contracts, Rate Confirmations, and shipping agreements are established directly between the licensed motor carrier and the licensed freight broker or shipper. The motor carrier is the primary contracting entity and maintains complete liability, operating authority responsibility, and regulatory compliance under its own USDOT/MC credentials.
3. No Handling of Shipper Freight Monies
A Plus Logistics does not receive, hold, or disburse shipper freight funds. Freight payments are settled directly between the freight broker/shipper and the motor carrier (or the carrier's designated factoring institution through an official Notice of Assignment). Dispatch compensation is invoiced separately to the carrier based on agreed percentage or flat weekly fee schedules.
4. No Forced Dispatch Policy
The motor carrier retains full autonomy over its equipment, drivers, schedules, and routing. No load is ever booked without prior carrier review and explicit approval of rates, miles, appointment times, and commodity specifications.
