Common Questions About Our Dispatch Services
Straightforward answers about business terms, rates, load approval, and paperwork.
What are your dispatch commission and weekly rates?
We provide simple, transparent pricing agreed upon in writing before dispatch begins: Semi Trucks (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed) at 5% gross or $250/week; Hotshots at 7% gross or $270/week; and Box Trucks at 8% gross or $300/week. There are zero hidden administration fees and zero forced dispatch.
Do you force dispatch loads on drivers?
Never. You maintain 100% authority and final approval on every load. Our dispatchers search and negotiate top-paying freight matching your equipment and preferred lanes, and you make the final decision to accept or decline.
What documents are required to begin dispatch services?
To get set up, we typically require: 1) Active MC Authority Certificate, 2) Signed IRS Form W-9, 3) Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing liability and cargo coverage, 4) Notice of Assignment (NOA) if you use a factoring company, and 5) A signed Carrier-Dispatcher Agreement.
Is A Plus Logistics a freight broker or a dispatch service?
A Plus Logistics operates strictly as an independent dispatch service provider representing motor carriers under an agency agreement. We are not a freight broker, do not contract freight in our own name, and do not collect or disburse shipper freight funds. All freight contracts and payments remain directly between the motor carrier, freight broker, or factoring institution.
Do you work with new motor carrier authorities?
Yes. We actively support new authorities. While some brokers have minimum operating history rules, our experienced team works daily with reputable broker networks that welcome compliant, safe new authorities.
